I had crrrrrazy itching earlier in my pregnancy and had my bile acid levels and liver checked. Everything came back normal. I switched to unscented soap and detergent etc. and the itching went away. Now all of the sudden I’m starting to itch again. I’m 37 weeks now and I’m worried. Could bike acid levels be normal and I still have cholestasis back when they checked? The itching is not as intense by any means, and I had blood drawn today to double check but of course the results take forever to come in.

I’m just wondering if I could have had cholestasis even with the normal bile acid and liver enzymes several weeks ago? I do have some swelling could that be the cause of the itching?
