My sister asked me to be a bridesmaid for her October wedding back in February. Along with all 3 of my other sisters and two of her friends. Okay, sure. She tells us it’s “informal” and the guys are wearing jeans and button down shirts. Country style outdoor rustic thing. Okay, cool. I start shopping for semi-casual style dress. She was supposed to buy the glitter converse she wanted us to wear with them as our bridesmaid gift.

She since changed her mind and we’re doing a full formal thing. Floor length formal gowns. She isn’t buying our shoes anymore. (She says she can’t afford anything for us since she’s over budget), and has since told us that a girl will be coming to do hair and makeup that day for an additional $150 each. Is it wrong of me to be frustrated?! I’m happy she asked me and that’s great, but don’t tell me the MONTH BEFORE.your wedding that I need to fork over all this cash last minute. Not to mention she’s expecting a wedding gift, and a bridal shower gift, along with a long trip for me to travel to be in the wedding anyhow.

She’s being such an inconsiderate bride IMO. AHHH! Guess I just needed to rant.
