Is pregnancy sex different than normal sex?

I’m 11 weeks with my first and have been so turned off to the point of sex I’ve refused to have it. Well that’s about to change lmao. Does it feel any different from normal sex? Any tips ?

Sex during 1st tri and start of 2nd tri were same as normal sex for me. End of 2nd I started to notice some differences and by 3rd tri I had to tell my husband different things to do because some things caused pain and some didn’t.

I have noticed that as I get bigger and my cervix feels like it's getting lower, sex is a little more uncomfortable for me. It's just harder to find a position that I like.

It was very uncomfortable for me. It did not feel the same at all.

It was great early on for me but now (32w) it can be uncomfortable. Angles required are different and things definitely need to be more gentle now. It's been like that for a good few weeks now.

I’m 27 weeks now and I find it to be super painful. I think I need to use lube lol I feel almost swollen after!!

1st and 2nd trimester sex was pretty much the same for me but 3rd trimester sex is more of a challenge. I'm 37 weeks and at this point it's hard to find positions that are comfortable.
