So I decided to start the group as I saw there’s some other ones for UTIs and HSV and such

Anyway I had the HPV vaccination some years ago and only this year I got my regular Pap smear and it came out with ONE type of HPV, the doctor said it was not to worry for now as I had the vaccine and it seems to be working, so she said next year I’ll get checked again... but of course I do worry! I’ve been with my partner for almost 6 years now, does this mean that I got it from him and he could have it too? Should he get checked as well?

This is pretty weird because I’ve never had any signs and neither has he, also all my previous paps have been normal even with previous partners 🤔
