When can I walk

If my c section is scheduled for 5pm when will I be able to walk?

I had my daughter at 4:45pm and they took my catheter out at 5 the next morning and at 6 they had me walk across the room to the bathroom. The more you walk, the faster you can go home so I was up every hour walking around the halls for 15-20 minutes. It’s excruciating at first (I’m not going to lie) but if they offer pain meds, take them.  Each little walk will be easier

Not until the next day most times they sit u up in a chair first then they start you walking.! Depends on your body really remember your legs will be spaghetti for a while from meds 😂😂😂

I had my c-section at 11:15 pm and by 7 the next morning I was up and walking around. But it depends on your body really.

Normally 12 hours later they remove the cath then after that they encourage you to get up and walk which is the best thing. You can do

My first was born at 1:27pm and I didn't walk until the next day. My second was born at 5:20pm and I got up at 11:30pm and walked to the wheel chair to see her in NICU  (I was going to walk to NICU but they wouldn't let me). Just take it slow
