Leash backpacks for toddlers ?

Have you used them ? Are they effective ?

I have the wrist to wrist one, we use it when we walk through crowded events and such. I see nothing wrong with it. It's better than them running off or seeing something interesting and wandering. And they actually have more freedom and autonomy than holding hands the whole time.

I used one for my son, the stuffed animal ones dont hold much but we had a little backpack one and you could fit a couple of things in it. Now i have a harness one( i lost the rein part of the other) and it has saved my sons life a few times, when he turned two he just started running in the car parks at the shops so i use it to keep him safe when i am putting the shopping in the car etc. I know people dont like them here in the usa but in england people do and i prefer using one and keeping my son safe from getting run over than not have one

We have the skip hop backpack one. It’s great. My son loves that he can put on a backpack and carry his snacks in it and it works really well.

I have a great one. Its not a backpack but the buckle locks and the key thing is on thr parents wrist attachment. It is amazing for my child who can open buckles

I've thought about it for my 15 month old a lot. However, she's insane. She'd just lay on the ground and scream the entire time it was on. I'd rather just hold her and keep teaching her to stay by my side & hold my hand.

My sister has a monkey! She loves it, she asks you to hold her tail, its adorable. She would walk off with anyone because shes so friendly
