When to get a breast pump

First time mom here. .I know that a breast pump can be provided by my insurance, when should I try order, befor or after after the baby comes. What's the best time

If your insurance allows you to get it before, order it before the baby arrives! This way you can familiarize yourself with the pump. Also, if you do have either low supply issues, or engorgement, you’ll already have your pump! I waited until the 6th week and I was having minor engorgement issues. I set expressed at first, and once I got the pump I had wished I had gotten it earlier!

My insurance wouldn’t send my pump until my little lady was born. But they did overnight shipping so when I got home from the hospital it was waiting for me.

I have No clue what you post is trying to say. But depending on your insurance they usually give you one around 36 weeks cuz some women can go into labor early. I did with both my kids. And your doctor will send your insurance something they will mail u a paper or give you a list of numbers of companys ur insurance is covered thru. And they will give u a list of pumps you can get. I have the medal pump its good but loud and my firat hated the noise my second one doesnt care. And im waiting on my freemie pump i have the cups n use them with my medal works great i love it. Once i get the actual freemie pump ill let you know how i like it. I hear its silent. And great for working mommies
