How long was/is your paid Maternity Leave?

I work at a retail store full Time and my manager isn’t sure that i will get paid maternity leave. If anyone has experienced not getting paid maternity leave, how long was your maternity leave?

I'm not sure where you live, but if you live in the US you are eligible for FMLA if your employer has more than 50 employees. With that being said you can receive 12 weeks maternity leave paid or unpaid depending on your employer.

Both of my pregnancies I had unpaid maternity leave. I could use my vacation days but that was it

Girl here and their giving me 8 weeks paid and the rest I will use my time to fully
Make it 3 months and I asked to be part time when I get back to work so I will be working from 8-1 everyday for 3 months until I figure things out .. thankful for it but wish I had more

Yes I'd say start putting money aside every paycheck and you can maybe save PTO.

I worked as a 9-1-1 dispatcher for almost ten years and two kids. We only got to take as much paid time off as we could accrue. So with number 1 I got about 1 week paid out of the six I took off  Baby 2 I got about 4/12.

9 months full pay 3 months can be taken unpaid. Il use my holiday pay for 13weeks instead of unpaid
