I’m just posting this here to vent because I’m so upset.

My high school best friend had a rough life, my parents and I did a lot for her over the years, including having her for Christmas (Santa and presents included) taking her to all family events etc because she didn’t have that at home.

Well I moved away a few years ago to a city that she had always wanted to live. (Her big sister is here) when things didn’t work out with my old boyfriend I had asked her if she wanted to move in so she could finally come here.. she’s a very timid person and never would’ve taken the initiative to move out of her parents house let alone out of province. Anyways when she agreed I told her from the start I would guarantee the 1 year left I had on my lease after we that I wasn’t sure we’d move together or not but she still agreed.

Fast forward to TWO months before my lease is done and I let her know I wouldn’t be renewing my lease with her. I knew it would be hard for her so I found her a place to live with my cousins. I negotiated the rent down for her, my boyfriend and I moved her.. she didn’t have one person to help.

Long story short my cousin is a very toxic person in my life and my “best friend” was so mad that I “screwed her over”” (if I’m wrong pls fkn tell me) that she made besties with the person who treats me terribly and I’m now finding out she’s said horrible horrible things about me to her and insists I did her wrong. If the friendship is over its over whatever I wouldn’t try to hurt her but I am so sad that she has said this stuff about me.

I know I’m better off without negative people in my life but I live away from family with my fiancé and am newly pregnant and I’m feeling so lonely.
