Feeling terrible, bad mom

Yesterday evening I was vacuuming the stairs to the 2nd floor, my daughter crawled up and was upstairs, it’s safe up there, really nothing she can get into, I told myself I’d look up every few seconds to be sure she wasn’t coming back toward the stairs since she doesn’t know how to go down them yet. (I was going to keep her down with me but knew it wouldn’t last a second since she’s obsessed with going up the stairs and obviously the barricade was up with me vacuuming.)

Anyway, next thing I knew she was tumbling down the stairs, maybe 3 or 4 before I ran and grabbed her. I feel SO bad. She didn’t really cry I think she was more in shock. No injury that I could see and she resumed as her normal self the remainder of the day/night.

Do you think I should still get her checked out ? Has this happened to anyone else? 😕
