Birth Control Change

So for about a year I’ve been taking the pill called Enskyce. It did an amazing job clearing up and controlling my acne and I never had any bad side effects. However these past two months when I went to pick up my birth control from Walmart they gave me the birth control called Apri instead for some reason, which I guess is the generic brand? Ever since these past two months and especially now my face has been breaking out bad. Is it possible the switching to Apri isn’t controlling my acne as much?
