Question

Top 5 to 10 must-have essential items for post partum that has been a life saver for you in your recovery after giving birth?! I'm in the process of making my own post partum kit and I don't want to buy a ton of items I may not end up needing or using?! TIA!!!

I had a vaginal delivery so these were essential for me:
1. Spray bottle (hospital gave me)
2. Mesh undies (hospital gave me but I asked for extra!)
3. Heating pad/ice pack for my engorged breast and nipples. I had one that I could wrap around my chest. 
4. Massaging ball for my lower back. I had bad back pain following the epidural 
5. LOTS of pads.. at first I used the ones the hospital gave me but they were impossible to wear. I bought thinner ones
6. Night gowns. I always wore night gowns but they were so helpful right aft  birth because putting pants on sucks. 
7. Something I didn’t have but wish I did was those padscicles I saw on Pinterest. I was so swollen down there and I would sit on a ice pack some days

Frozen witch hazel pads, look into frozen cooked dinners it'll help, also I would recommend puppy pads to sit on for awhile sometimes you bleed really heavy and it leaks out
