So, me and my boyfriend have been going through a really tough time recently because he’s just gone to university in Leeds. I am literally only an hour and a half away which isn’t actually far. This is now a long distance relationship because he’s not just 5 minutes away anymore. There has been times where he’s tried to detach from me because he isn’t emotionally stable to deal with it and I’ve tried to detach from him but none of us can do it. He tried to end things last night with me (simply because he wants me to be happy and find someone who can give me the love and attention I deserve 24/7) and obviously I was having none of it at all. I was like but I don’t want anyone else and I was getting really emotional talking about how I feel. I told him there and then that I loved him and I was crying. So I couldn’t just be happy with someone else. Not whilst I’m in love with someone. It wouldn’t feel right with anyone else. He broke down talking to me and he felt so bad. He’s never ever ever cried in front of me or anything before. Ever! What does this even mean?
