Being induced

So I'm 36 weeks 3days and I had my ob appointment Tuesday and she told me that I could be induced oct. 8th which will put me at 39 weeks and said that me and baby are fine and that I am 1cm dilated. I'm nervous and scared i cant wait to meet my little girl but I'm also wondering if everything will be okay with me being induced. (My dr says I will be) any other moms on here that's been induced at 39w and can give me any advice or tips...
