Is this normal?

I can’t really tell anyone other than my husband and his parents I’m pregnant. We just went through a huge family loss so it’s not the time. Plus I’m only 6 weeks and one day pregnant. I’ve had 4 miscarriages in the past. 2 other them were really recent. I went to the dr today and only saw a sac. The dr said that’s normal. I’m wondering when I should see a baby?

I went in at 6w 1d and all they saw was the sac.  At 7w 4 days we saw baby and heard the heartbeat.  Try not to worry (easier said than done, I know).  Probably means that you conceived a few days after you originally thought.  Best of luck!

I went today and according to this I'm 6 weeks but doc said I look more about 5 1/2 all week saw were the sac also and said it was normal I glad you said something I was so nervous

Yes very normal... i saw that two weeks ago when I was around 6weeks , and two weeks later a strong heartbeat!!

As long as you see the yolk sac inside... thats a very good sign...

You might not actually be 6 weeks yet if you ovulated later so give it another couple weeks and you should see something

I would think there would be more than a sac by 6 weeks.
