I am so angry. I’m literally shaking. As a CNA, I waited until I just couldn’t wait any longer (7.5 months) before asking for a 25 pound lifting max, with a doctors note. Not only did management tell my fellow CNA that they could not get extra help (1 more person) on our halls (40 residents total) but that Pregnancy is not a medical disability and I could cover all of A by myself. Now I’m being mistreated by my fellow CNA’s and ignored by Nurses, management etc. HOWEVER my other fellow CNA VERY recently found out she’s pregnant. (8 weeks) she brought in a note yesterday asking for 20 pounds max from her doctor and EVERYONE is treating her like a princess! Even having me do some of her lifting! I am absolutely appalled and just can’t wait to leave this place.
