I can’t believe I’m finally a Mommy! *Updates*

Chelsea • Mommy to twin girls

Omg you guys I’m so happy I just cannot believe it! Ok let’s get on with the story

For the past week I haven’t been feeling well. Just more tired than normal, mind you I was on hospital bed rest for two months and at home on bed rest prior to. I had my baby shower here and everything!

Anyways, I’ve been sleeping my days away. Very moody, I cried my eyes out a few days ago. I don’t know why but I did. Since 4am I was crying. Fast forward to Tuesday, I really didn’t feel good. I wasn’t hungry. I was nauseated and had the worst headache. I then all of a sudden started cramping really bad.

I went to the bathroom and every time I would urinate, I would get really sharp pains in my lower back and abdomen. I knew something was up but wasn’t entirely sure.

I called my nurse and she put me on the monitors to see what was going on. I had two big contractions, during the second one, my water ended up breaking. I got really nervous Bc I was only 32+4 pregnant with my twin girls.

They took me down to L&D and that’s where everything went crazy. My labor was super quick it took only 1hr for my contractions to go from 20 min apart to 5 min apart. Then 30 min for them to go from 5 min apart to 10 seconds apart. My doctor finally checked me and said we need to deliver them. You are in active labor and we need to get that stitch out. (I had a cerclage in place).

I had to get a csection because baby A was breech but my beautiful baby girls came into this world on Wednesday Sept 19,2018 at 0012 and 0013.

*Update*

Lynnie and ViVi are now 4 days old. I can’t believe it! I got discharged yesterday and it was the hardest thing ever to leave them. I ended up coming back last night and they let me Room In so I was thankful for that...The girls are progressing. Aerolynn is under a lamp for bilirubin but she should be taken off today. Everything is on the up and up and we are working on growth and feeds.
