purple semi dye that doesnt stain scalp?!

Hey yall, been dying my hair purple for awhile. I do it myself to save money BUT i get it all over my scalp! Ugly purple blotches that last longer than the hari dye does. So- does anyone have a good semipermanent dye that doesnt stain skin too bad? Thanks!

I use red and that stains my scalp as well what I do is when I’m washing the dye I really scrub my scalp with my finger nails for a good 3 minuets it’s been helping lately

I use Feria. It does stain your scalp, but it generally fades quickly, and the hair stays for a while. And when it does fade, it fades into a nice red. And you don’t need bleach.
