Induction

I’m getting induced to have our second baby in 6 days due to kidney problems. I’ll be 38 weeks and 4 days on the day of induction. At my appointment today my cervix was still closed. They said if my cervix is still closed when I come in for induction then they’ll start by using a foley balloon. If I’m dilated at all then they’ll pop my water straight away. I’m feeling nervous and want to hear some induction stories.. how long did it take from induction to delivery, did you go with or without epidural, etc.
