Told my mother in law that we don't want people kissing our newborn until he's had the chance to grow an immune system, and her first response was "Can I kiss his feet and hands, but not his face?" NO, LADY! Babies put everything in their mouth! I'm trying to avoid the flu, the herp, and who knows what else! Don't split hairs because this is your first grandbaby!

Thankfully she didn't fight me when I clarified that the only acceptable kisses will be kisses on his hat/clothes.

Just wanted to rant. This was an interesting start to my morning. 😴
