Which do you prefer?

I’m thinking about switching from tampons to menstrual cups due to the excessive cramping and wanted opinions.

I tried the diva cup YRS ago & never could get it to pop open. It was painful & SOOO frustrating for me. I happened up the “soft cups” awhile back. LOVE them, but can’t use them on heavy days bc I have a tilted uterus & they sometimes leak. Can’t use at nite. However, my daughter has great success w them. They’re unlike any other cup- u insert like a tampon. Doesn’t have to be suctioned to ur cervix. 
I just bought the femmycycle last cycle bc I saw many youtubers saying it was great. And bonus- doesn’t have to open. I got both low cervix & reg for $5 more than just 1 costs on eBay. Good thing I did, bc I had no clue I had a low cervix. 
Anyways. I only used it the 5 days & some days I would get it right. I couldn’t feel a thing & it didn’t leak AT ALL. Other days I did it wrong. It hurt. And leaked. But I think I’ll get the hang of it. (Anyone who has any tips feel free to share!!) And I highly recommend it, esp compared to other cups :)

The cup has changed my periods for the better. Start period put in cup and forget. The first day I'm heavy so I have to empty several times but after that I can leave the cup in all day without thinking about it. Nothing to buy every single month and nothing to throw in the trash. No risk of toxic shock syndrome. No toxic ingredients. And can lesson cramping. Tampons are notorious for making cramps worse. 
I do wear washable pantiliners just in case I leak. Which is usually only a spot or 2 sometimes.

I love my menstrual cups I have a Lena cup small and they are awesome no more waste no more loud packages that lets everyone know you are on your period reusable an I can wear mine for 12 it's awesome they are way more comfortable and helps with cramps I choose the Lena cause it was cheaper than some of the other cups but there are many out there to choose from also I'm 14 so that kinda show that even really young kids can use them if they have theirs periods

Switched from tampons to menstrual cup and it was the best decision ever. I was never much of a pad wearer but when I changed jobs a year ago, I didn’t have time to go to the bathroom to change my tampon so much. Switching to the cup, you can go as long as 12 hours without emptying it, depending on how heavy you’re flowing. Most of the time I can do the whole 8 hour shift without changing. The rest of the time, I could at least get to my lunch break.

But I have moved from pads to tampons, 1st time ever and I love it so far
