Would you make your kids pay rent if they were still living with you and working? My mom doesn’t make me and my siblings and my boyfriend judges it. Opinions please!

No. Personally I want my kids to have the best start at life. I’d rather help them save money so they can get tf out of my house and not come back 😂

Once I left school and was working full-time I was expected to help out weather it was buying enough groceries for a few days or buying the laundry detergent for that week.

To me, if you are in school no. But when you are working full time if you don’t have a specific plan (EX: buying a house in the next 18 months) then you should be paying rent. Your parents are working hard for their money, owning a house is expensive and all the other things lile electricity, food ect. Don’t be a freeloader.

I think it depends on how old you are. If you are eighteen/nineteen I probably wouldn’t make them pay rent but twenty or above you should probably be paying something.

It depends on the age. 21+ you will have a job and be responsible for your part. That’s just responsible parenting imo.

How my parents did it was if we were living at home and weren’t in school, we needed to pay rent. It wasn’t bad at all and I think that’s fair.

Depends on the kid, are they helpful and respwctful  then id say dont worry about it 
But
If they drag the house down amd cost more money than a good behaved kid then yes make them Or of you have a low income
