When were you able to tell the gender via ultrasound?

I finally gave in since I literally haven't seen the baby yet since the baby was just a blob. I will be 14w6d on the day of the ultrasound.
Do you think we will be able to tell?

Yes, should be possible 😊 It might also be abit difficult for them, but here they say you can have a gender scan from week 14 😊

Where are you all from?? I live in Ontario, Canada and my DR is making me wait until I’m 20 weeks to find out the gender. Our hospital won’t do it any sooner than that 😩 and my Husband doesn’t see the point in paying to go to a private clinic for it

We found out at 10 weeks that it was a boy....it was very very obvious and little boy was not shy to show off at all

I had a wrong early ultrasound at 14 weeks and then it was correct at 16 weeks.  We went back to have it confirmed because it is standard practice at that private ultrasound place.  They were so sure it was a girl at 14 weeks and then he clearly had a penis at 16 😂

I was in for a genetics type ultrasound with my 1st at 14 weeks and she said it was a boy no doubt...my doctor said they didn't feel comfortable confirming gender until 19/20 weeks along, but when we did have our anatomy scan baby was a boy. So it is possible to tell at over 14 weeks.
