How to tell if baby flipped out of breech position?

My OB told me that my baby was breech yesterday at my appointment and if she didn’t flip in a week we would try ECV. Last night I was getting in bed and she had some really big movement back to back and I can’t tell if she flipped or not. She still feel high and under my rib cage but she feels more centered. Any thoughts?

So I was told how to identify the head and butt of baby is that if you move the butt the whole body moves. And the head will only move. Can you feel where her butt or head is? Like when you press on your belly?
Also does your baby have hiccups? That’s a tell tale sign of where head is.

I really don’t think there’s a good way to tell. When my baby was breech I was able to feel her bead between my ribs and you could move her head around.. now that she’s finally flipped I feel her butt between my ribs but had no idea it wasn’t her head anymore. I think the only real sign is I now feel movements in different places, but if your baby has only been breech for a short while it might be hard for you to tell!

My first was breech and I always felt her very high in my belly, I was told at 37 weeks if she flips you will feel it and it will hurt! She never turned so I don't know!

You can feel the butt up top. If you push the butt it moves very easily. If they are head down you can feel the hands down in your pelvis when they stretch but it’s not as dramatic as getting kicked. It’s almost like a poke with the hands and the feet will push out of your stomach. I can feel his feet from the outside when he stretches and if I push back, they move.
