Glucouse test??

I have one coming up in a couple months, any recommendations for it like what not to do and what to do?

Don’t do it. Do a finger prick test instead. Fasting finger prick, then eat a meal and prick test 1 hour after meal and again 2 hours after meal. Record results. Take to your doctor and then if anything looks iffy they’ll refer you for further testing. GTT is inaccurate and unhealthy. You can hire or borrow a finger prick machine from the chemist.

Don’t eat!!! They told me I could eat 2 hours prior to my 1hr test!! I failed, had to do my 3hr test and passed. Took mine 3 weeks ago

My nutritionist said to eat a protein heavy snack before midnight and stay hydrated. It is supposed to be a fasting sugar so without eating anything in the morning.

Try to do it early in the morning right after breakfast. Eat some eggs. Try to stay away from carbs they can throw your results.
