How do you know if it's a chemical pregnancy?

My period due Tuesday/Wednesday and we got a positive test a few actually. My fiance is worried it's a chemical. How can we well.

If you have a positive test, especially digital, congrats! Don’t worry about a chemical unless you start bleeding. I was due for my period, but took a test that morning and it was positive. But I got my period that night. Dr said it was a chemical and I’d have a little heavier period and maybe a little longer than usual.

Why would he think that? Usually the tests stay faint and  eventually go away or some women experience bleeding. Doesn’t always mean that though

Have you taken a test that’s not digital? I think if it was chemical it’d be pretty faint and you may not get a positive on a digital. They tend to be pretty faint. Have you had a chemical before or anything to make him think it may be? Just wait and test again once you’ve missed your period :) I’d say chances are pretty good though if you got a positive digital!
