37 weeks & 80th Birthday Party

My husband’s grandparents both turn 80 this year and are having a rather large birthday celebration 3 weeks before my due date, 3 hours away, in another state. I’m currently only 32 weeks but am beginning to get a little stressed out about making the trip. I want to know your honest opinion on whether or not you’d travel for a weekend away that far at 37 weeks? My nurse practitioner told me around week 20 that I should be fine, but now that it’s getting closer and closer, I don’t know how I feel. My gut says stay home even though I’m almost 100% certain I won’t go into labor that early. I just don’t know if I feel comfortable risking it.

This is my first and yes I am probably overly worried but I have had issues with going to hospitals too far away in the past. Insurance wouldn’t cover them because they were “out of network”. Heeeeelp!
