Best car seat placement?

Would it be better to put my car seat behind the passenger side or in the middle seat? What did you do? 
Edit: this is for an infant rear facing car seat as of right now 😁

I always heard the Middle Was the safest. Then if u can’t do the middle the driver side.

Middle is safest unless you have one of those raised bump middle seats. Then drivers side is next safest

I went to a car safety thing and they said if it fits, the middle is generally best because there less chance on impact if hit on either side. I like having it in the middle because I can reach back if need be.

Middle is "safest" because they are furthest from point of impact. But sides are perfectly safe. Do what works best for you.

I always do behind passenger. When it’s 2 of them then I’ll do both sides and middle empty. (By then I am trying to have a car with ‘captain seats’ 😬😬😬)

Depends where you can get the best fit. Ours fit best on the sides, so we chose passenger side, because when parked on a curb it's not facing traffic.
