11 months ago (oct 2017) I stopped taking birth control after having been on it for only 5 months. I had gained 30 pounds and I turned crazy- like a psycho and it was super bad for our new marriage. At first my period seemed to be pretty regular then we thought we were pregnant because I would be 5-7 days late. Sure enough I always got my period tho. My last period in Aug 2018 was late again, and super painful. I went to my obgyn and had an ultra sound. The doc said I may have had a cyst that popped because he saw a little fluid around my ovary but everything else looked normal. No endo, no other cysts, normal uterus, no infections everything all clear. Now it’s Sept 2018 and I’m 6 days late. Why does every period come late? Also, just to be clear, my cycles are actually getting longer. It’s frustrating because we are trying to do natural family planning since I had such a bad reaction from the pill and I’m too afraid to try anything else.

Any advice? If not I just kinda needed to vent this.
