First signs baby was coming?

What were some of the first signs you had that baby was coming soon? First signs of labor?

I had the shits for a few days, then my mucus plug came out.

Nauseous and felt off night before. Next morning my water broke with my first. My second, I started having flu like symptoms for a couple of days and went to the hospital to get some IV fluids and be monitored. Came back home several hours later and went to bed, only to wake up at 3:30AM to my water breaking.

Contractions. All of the sudden my tightening felt different and my son came the next day.

I woke up with light cramping (like period cramps) & I also had diarrhea. 
I was at home for two hours, & the cramping didn’t stop, so that’s when I decided to go to the hospital & it was confirmed that I was in labor!
