we received our nipt results today. i had planned to be surprised at birth (because i assumed it would be a boy) but something overtook me & i was too impatient to wait until april. we are genuinely in disbelief! my husband’s family is ALL boys. his grandpa had no sisters, had four sons, who all had sons. my husband has two brothers, and the one who has kids has two boys. no one has had a girl. so, we expected a boy as well. but, then this week, i had two dreams i was having a girl, and could not get the girl name we have picked out, out of my head. we obviously would have been happy with a boy or girl, but just to have the first girl in like three generations is exciting! 😊
