What was mono like for you?

Question

What are the symptoms of mono? 
And for those of you who’ve had it before, what symptoms did you have and how bad was it?
Some people I’ve talked to said they were completely miserable and others said they got through it without experiencing much... so I was wondering about you girls

Swollen and sore throat with white spots on tonsils. Couldn’t swallow without pain from throat. A lot of fatigue. I think that was it? But it was not fun at all!

Pretty bad. I was whote as a ghost. swollen lymphnodes. No energy. They thought i had cancer.

Mine was terrible... I started out testing positive for strep throat. After 10 days of strep throat symptoms, and antibiotics having no help my parents knew something was up. Sore throat, super swollen tonsils, aches, mild fever, tired, weakness etc. One symptom that really freaked us out was I broke out in a HORRIBLE rash all over. It looked like I had been burned. The rash itched and wouldn’t go away... thats when I went to urgent care and with a blood test they diagnosed me with Mono.

it was horrriblleee for me. it first started out woth the horrible sore throat and i looked at it in the mirror and my tonsils were huge and covered in white spots. so i immediately got my blood taken for mono and i had it. it also came with the fatigue and a high fever. my face and eyes were very puffy and congested. the worst of it lasted a week and i didnt eat anything but liquid medicine bc i couldnt swallow pills or anything. i also got a rash from it as well.
