Is having a racial dating preference racist ?

Some people say I’m not into black men or I only date Latinas etc. is it wrong ? 
Does a racial dating preference expose a deeper racial prejudice?

I think it depends. Do you see them as a whole person- then no. 
If you are fetishizing someone’s features (oh I love your chocolate skin, slanted eyes etc) or if you assign stereotypes to them (Asian women being submissive, Black men being sexually aggressive, Latinas being firey) Then yes there is a problem with it.
I know Black guys who only dated white girls because “Black girls are too loud.” -> that is some self-hating racist 💩

I think if you exclude other races for specific things general to that race (stereotyping) then it is absolutely racist. Physical preferences are strange to me because almost all of them are social. I have certain preferences but they are not race related, they are more to do with physical shape, which is something a person can conceivably change, and all races can be in any shape. Race is not something a person can change. Skin color, hair color, eye color, are all superficial reasons to exclude or be exclusive towards an entire group of people.

No, its not wrong to only be attracted to certain races. You are attracted to who you are attracted to, nothing racist about that. For example, I have some black family, black friends and role models my whole life... not sexually attracted to them. Not racist, I just happen to not get turned on by black people. I have wanted to get turned on by them before, it just wouldn't happen for me. You can't change things like that, no matter how much you want to.
