How long after a miscarriage does it take for your levels to become normal? And how long do doctors usually take to get back test results? I feel like my doctor just isn’t on top of things, I had blood drawn Thursday and I haven’t heard anything. To me, these test should be like...next day? Is Monday/Tuesday a long time to wait for blood hcg?

My doctor has suspected ectopic but has been treating me “expectantly”. My HCGs are as follows:

I told my doctor that if they still haven’t ruled out ectopic and that if we have another increase, I’d like to pursue some sort of treatment to end this up and down craziness. I haven’t had a d&c or any medical management. I found out the baby was most likely unviable 8/29.

I am sort of feeling a little nuts. It’s not like I’m just waiting on my #s to go down. I’m waiting to figure out what in the heck they’re going to do next. This feels like the unending miscarriage from hell. Anyone go through something similar?
