Spotting after an exam?

FTM: I’m currently 36weeks and had my 1st pelvic exam on Friday (yesterday).  I’m thinking it’s still some spotting from the exam but I’m not sure? What do you all think? How long should the spotting last?  Will I spot every time I have an exam?

That’s super normal. They should’ve told you that. My doctor or nurse always reminds me that it’s normal so don’t panic lol..luckily it hasn’t happened to me

Spotting is normal after an exam. It may or may not happen each time. As long as its not menstrual like bleeding.

Yes I had a bunch of old blood the next am (brown ) after my check. Nothing since just inconsistent contractions

Yes I’ve had spotting after my exams, it usually lasts about a day or so.

I am due next Saturday and when I first got my cervix checked, I bled a lot. Like when you first wipe st the beginning of your period. Haven’t bled since and been getting checked each weeked
