is this safe?

this bassinet has been handed down from my great aunt to my cousin to my sister and now me. my daughter has besn bedsharing the past 2 months and im ready to transition her to her own sleeping area in my room. is this type of bassinet safe? it is free hanging and the rails are about 3 inches apart from each other.. please explain why or why not.

(yes i know that the stuffed animal should not be in there when she's sleeping.)

Does a soda can fit through the slats? If so it's not safe to use because it doesn't meet current safety regulations. The sheets seem really loose too.

I mean it looks okay but it’s kinda hard to tell 100% from a photo...is it stable and solid? 
One thing I would say is that I’d move the stuff off of the top of the drawers next to it because I’d be paranoid that it would fall into the bassinet while the baby is in it but that’s just me 🤷🏼‍♀️

The crib itself is just fine, but the sheet looks way too big for the mattress. It needs a tight, fitted sheet. And once she can sit up, that mattress will be much too high as well. It'll have to be lowered.
