Hi everyone

I’m currently in a very awkward situation and I don’t know what to do. So basically me and this guy have been chatting for a very short while and recently I found out that he went out with my friend over a year ago for less than a month (I wasn’t friends with her at the time). I told her that he had messaged me and she hasn’t taken it very well. As I go to college with her, I’m really worried that I’m going to lose her as a friend and my other friends along with it. Just wondering what any of you would do in this situation and whether or not you would mind if this happened to you?
