He’s not alone! I wet the bed until I was about 10. I do remember when I was about 18 I got into a super deep sleep and woke up from wetting the bed😭 it happens🤷🏻‍♀️

When I was younger one of my kidneys was smaller than average. I wet the bed until I was around 12 and the doctors all told my mom that we'd just have to wait until my kidney grew. I did grow out of it around my preteen years, but also always felt super embarrassed that I would wet the bed long after others had grown out of it.

How old is your brother? My daughter is nearly 10 and she has accidents occasionally, she gets into such a deep sleep that she doesn’t wake in time.... a few of my friends children that are around the same (age 8/9) are still wearing pyjama pants (nappy) because they tend to wet the bed, (this is through no fault of their own) but it happens, nothing to be embarrassed about.
