Fibroids- lost of my baby!

Michelle

Maybe there is someone in this group went through this situation because I really need some closure. Sorry for my long story!

I found out that I was pregnant back in March wish was very shocking with someone who went through 2 ectopic ( 1 of my tube where so badly ruptured they took it away and the other ectopic I had a d & c, which left my currently with 1 tube). Anyways both my boyfriend and I was excited and not realizing that I had couple of large fibroids and that we are both 41 we were happy! I found out I was 7 weeks of course after that doing routine Ob visits my fibroids was getting bigger. On Memorial Day which I was 17 weeks and thought ok even though the my doctor kept saying at you age I could have pre-term labor and the factor that the fibroids were getting large, I was feeling positive no matter what was said. So we decided to go get the crib because babies rus was going out of Business and got on sale. Later that day I went to use the restroom at home and notice that I was bleeding and of course I was worried and my boyfriend says to me just lay in the bed and relax, which I did and then came the back pain. Boyfriend decided let’s go the hospital and just see what’s going on, so when we arrived I went to use the restroom soon as I finished and ready to stand up my water broke😢, they heard me calling for help right and there came the nurse and doctors came to assist me which I knew there was no coming back for my baby! I was told after them doing all test and they check for heart beat my baby girl heart beat was there but the told me if she was 20 weeks they would try to help her. Of course they had to induce labor on me. Seeing that I going through this my 1st baby which was the hardest thing I ever had to face and I delivered her (thought was a girl through blood test and at delivery I had a boy). The medical team asked if we wanted to see the baby and I couldn’t because if I did I would be a nut case as it is I am already such an emotionally wreck every other day even at this point, but my boyfriend did and he is not dealing with well either. After delivery that I had to do a follow up doctors visit because of my blood pressure and I was fine but the next day my back was just killing me, went back to urgent care and they ran test and I didn’t have any infection or anything but they kept me in the hospital for couple of days to run more test because they can’t understand why I am in so much pain and of course nothing wasn’t was resolve, but eventual with all the meds I was relieved from pain and I was discharged. Of while going through all my emotionally distress loosing my baby my doctor suggested for me to visit my family in Florida couple days in my visit the same pain came back again they realize that the fibroids were pressing on my bowels which made sick by not able to hold food and they had insert an Ng tube to release all that fluid, ended a surgeon came to see me and stated you have 5 fibroids 1 as large as a cantaloup, they had to do myomectomy surgery instantly!

Oh my what an experience and it is still a roller coaster because now I am afraid to want to try again.
