How much weight should you gain in the first trimester? I am 96.6lbs at 8w3d.

If other please put in comments. Idk what is an appropriate amount of weight to gain since I don’t have my first Ob till I’m 12 weeks. 
When I confirmed my pregnancy at 5 weeks I was 94.4 lbs. When I read what to expect when your expecting it said u should gain only 2-4lbs in the first trimester.

I would say don’t put a threshold on # of pounds to gain between first, second, or third. Your physician will say something if they feel concerned. Let your body run its natural course. Yes your going to gain, how many pounds is unknown. It’s not healthy to gauge your health and weight against other individuals health and weight everyone’s bodies are systematically different. Remember to keep a healthy outlook on pregnancy. If you find yourself getting on that scale it might be a good idea to put it away, give it to a family member to stash and judge how to feel day to day vs some # on a scale.

Everyones body does it differently, if you are being healthy dont worry about it! Personally i gain weight in pregnancy. Almost 50lb with my first. I am normally in the healthy weight catagory and lost it all within 6months 🤷‍♀️.

Well it depends..if you are underweight you can gain a little more tha  someone who is "normal" weight.
