TTC shortly after d&c or wait?

I was told no sex until after being cleared at my 2 week appt... it's only been 3 days. This'll be torture lol
Anyway, i'm sure dr will say to wait a chuckle or two, but i'm wondering if anyone's tried right after and gotten pregnant? Is there a reason to wait for at least one period?

I know they like you to wait until after at least one cycle because it’s easier for them to track from the date of your lmp .. but I’ve also heard that there’s a greater risk of infection after d&c from intercourse which may be a good reason to get the all clear first.

My doctor said I could start trying as soon as I stopped bleeding from the D&C. Unfortunately that wasn’t until 4 weeks after and now it’s been 4 months after and still nothing, but as long as you feel your body can handle it, I don’t see why not!
