10 days late,negative test at 8 days

Sorry if this is the weig group. I haven't been any more stressed than usual. I did take a test but it was blue dye and I'm not sure what brand it was since my friend had from a few months ago and no longer had the box. When would it be best to test again? My boobs don't usually hurt any time during my cycle but they do right now. Not sure if that's a symptom of pregnancy or not(really hoping it's not, I'm of age but my relationship is slightly confusing so I'm not ready for that).
