The Bible talks about sex during your period in the Old Testament but remember when Jesus came He gave us new laws and said we were freed from the old ones. With anything though I would say pray about it, ask God, and listen to how He responds! :)

I believe the verse you’re getting this from is specifically Levitican law. Not really meant for us so much as to show an example of how things were BC. I could be wrong, but this is my understanding. It was considered unclean and we now know it was likely put there because risk of infection is high when you’re on your period

Lol what? No, there’s nothing wrong with this as long as you and your husband are both okay with it. Some couples are, some aren’t. I don’t think God has any opinion on it whatsoever. (Ditto what someone else said about the Old Testament laws being null after Jesus’ New Covenant).

When I was first married my husband was staunchly against sex during my period, however, 8 years later, he doesn’t even care. It’s not a sin due to the fact that we are not under the levitical law. In fact, Hasidic Jewish women who are under the levitical law are unclean from  the day their period stops for 7 days or until ovulation. The concept of a women being unclean during her period is a misinterpretation of that law and of the words in the Bible. The only reason why I know this is because I asked a Hasidic rabbi to explain that passage to me. He also went on to say many Hasidic men and women enjoy sex during the wife’s period of both don’t care! Put a dark towel down on your bed or have sex in the shower and just know, if you are in Christ, the levitical law doesn’t apply to you because Jesus fulfilled the law.
