We just had our baby shower yesterday and were blown away by how generous people were! We didn’t receive everything from our registry - which is COMPLETELY fine. We never expected to receive as much as we did in the first place.

Now the dilemma. There are a few things we will need so I’m asking for input on what we should get now and what we can potentially wait for until Black Friday or even Boxing Day.

Stroller - we got a Nuna car seat and were planning on getting an Uppababy Cruz stroller. They were on sale this past weekend in Canada for 15% off but the stores we checked into were all sold out. The baby is due mid-November so I don’t know if we’ll be outside much at first. Could we wait a week or two for Black Friday to see if they happen to go on sale again?

Pack n Play/Playard. I’m torn because we have two bassinets (a Halo and also a Fischer Price hand me down one). We also have a Snuggle Me Organic (kind of like a Dock-a-tot) and a Mamaroo. There will be no shortage of places for the baby to sleep haha. Both sets of in-laws also have cribs so it’s not like we would need to bring a PnP to any of their homes.

Baby Monitor - could it wait 2-3 weeks to see if we can get a good deal on one? I’m anticipating being attached to the baby for the first few weeks anyways and can’t see when I’d use a baby monitor.

Baby carrier - This one I’m confused about because my registry shows it was purchased but I didn’t receive it at the shower and everybody was there. If somebody got it and is saving it, then great. However, if there was a mistake, can I hold off on one for now?
