Ok so I’m asking this for a friend. She has to go in for her 1-hr this week and is very worried. Because there is a family history of GD they had her do the test earlier on and she barley passed while fasting. So now she is stressed out about failing and said something to me that had me very confused.

Has anyone ever been told that after taking their bedtime lantus they can’t eat for 13 hours? I’m a nurse and I deal with diabetics at work all the time and have never heard this before.
