Okay so i have severe irregular periods. Im going to the obgyn to get help with regulating them but i am also trying to concieve. Will she be able to give me anything besides birth control to help regulate my periods?

Answer

Progestrone can help with regulating periods. I have endometriosis and had irregular periods and that’s what we discussed but I did an IUD for 3 months (wasn’t ttc at the time) and I’ve had it out for 2 months with perfect 28 day cycles the last 2 months. But obviously not an option if you’re ttc so probably progestrone would be a good start!
