TTC before marriage?

I just want to start by saying I’m not trying to be rude or attack anyone. Im genuinely curious about the answer. I realize not everyone is into traditional institutions like marriage and everyone has their own path in life. 
I am in no way saying that I think it’s wrong to do this or that. You do you! 
My question is...I see people post that they’re ttc with their boyfriend. Why are you willing to have a baby but not willing to get married? Is it that you just don’t want to pay for a wedding? Or you don’t want to deal with joint taxes? Or you just don’t care to be married? 
Again I have no issue with it, I definitely don’t believe you have to be married in order to share a life together or be good parents. I’m just wondering if there’s a reason behind it.

My boyfriend and I have been together a little over a year and a half. Been TTC for a few months. I have a 5 yr old with my ex-husband. He had an affair and fathered another child when I was 9 months pregnant with our son....we were married. The way I look at it is, I did it the "right" way the first time around and look at how that worked out for me. My boyfriend and I talk about marriage, but aren't in any rush and will do something very small, most likely in my parents backyard.

I personally think millennials just aren’t into getting married these days. I have younger cousins who have baby fever but just don’t want to be married. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I had my daughter a few years before i got married and honestly i wouldn’t have had it any other way. Iv heard too many horror story’s on men turning into completely different people after having children and relationships going south from the stress of having children and women feeling stuck or unable to leave because they’re married. Id rather see what kind of father he is going to be before marrying him

We’ve been together 3 years & we talk about marriage, but it’s not something that’s super important to us...... we have our son so we’re a family already.. we’ll probably get married eventually, I’m in no rush. Also because we, just like anyone in sure, have had problems in our relationship (we put TTC aside when something happens) so idk I’m in no rush to have more problems lol...

I can give you my personal reasoning. I’ve been married previously and will honestly say that marriage is so easy to get into just by a few signatures, but if/when it goes downhill, the divorce process can be extremely brutal.

Tbh I'm a very traditional person and wanted to have the husband THEN TTC. Okay cool, I've done those things. But the back of my mind knows that it can still go south. Blended families are a thing and I hope I'm never in that situation because of my own exposure to it (it was a mess to grow up around it and have two step brothers). 
I also know that marriage itself was so easy to get into because we did a courthouse wedding. If we were to ever divorce which I hope doesn't happen...it would be an absolute mess and could take years. So I can see why some people don't wait to get married. If it feels right then it feels right.

I'll marry him one day, I have nothing against that. I'd want our kids to be at our wedding. It's not at the top of the priority list is all.

Ok my personal opinion is that man are just don’t propose for long time. For women, it’s easier to say she wants a baby than she wants to get married. Some how man are don’t feel under pressure when they have been asked to try for baby but they will be under pressure when women send the signal that she wants to get married. 
Sooo some girls have don’t really have much choice because they don’t know when they are going to be asked to get married. Time is ticking some girls are not so young enough to wait and some just know that their boyfriend unlikely to propose next 10 years. 
I think this question should also be asked to the man. 😉

My fiance and I got pregnant about 3 months after we got engaged, and dont plan on getting married in the very near future. We have a family together and we live together, marriage is a plus for us and not a priority. We wouldn't love each other any more by being legally married so I guess we're just taking our time lol
