Guy texts everyday but doesn’t ask questions

Soo, there is this guy that I know , he is few years younger than me... we never talked but since we live in a not that big of a town, everyone knows everybody ... anyway, few weeks ago I saw a story he posted on IG and as I was bored I texted about that story and we started talking.( for the record I didn’t think about him in anyway, I just had a cool comment) ... I was like “cool, lost some free time, not bad..” but he started writing to me every day about what he was doing, sending me pics and videos.. he even shares some really personal stuff.. he is not boring, actually I think he is funny and smart... started to like him a little bit...but he rarely asks me questions ... like I am the one who asks about him and want to know more about the thing he wrote... but when I write something he comments but never asks to know more... last week we even met in person... first time I talked and he asked questions.. we hugged and that was it... my question is.. so you girls think he likes me or he just needed someone to talk to and I got that position? (P.s. sorry for bad English, not my native language)
