Infertility ?

Question

When did you guys realize you were infertile or having trouble getting pregnant?? Is there any signs? Do you still ovulate?? Also if it wasn’t you was there anyway or symptoms to know it was your mans? Are there any at home tests for that?? And what did you guys change that finally got you pregnant ???

I've been off my pill since July 2016. My husband and I have been trying off and on these past 2 years and finally in Februray during my last annual I was asking my gyno if I should start worrying. She asked me, "Am I ovulating, taking ovulating testes, are my period regular?" I said yes to all, all seems normal. Then she asked history of my husband and that's when she suggested him doing a semen analysis. Since I have all the right symptoms and even no miscarriages she ordered a semen analysis. That was back in Feb 2018. Came back and he had little to no sperm and referred us to urologist.
Finally, after settling in our first home we  decided to follow up with the urologist this month. He ordered another semen analysis, testosterone test and hormone tests through blood draw. His blood test came back normal but again his semen analysis can back absent sperm again. He referred us to another urologist but in Denver to possibly do a testicular biopsy and also see a endocrinologist for pituitary hormone.
As of right now, we made an appt with the endocrinologist. My husband wants to see if we can try not to do the testicular biopsy because it is technically a surgery and it's honestly scary for him.
Still looking on the bright side and hopefully my husband and I will have a child one day...
