Blanching while Teething?
I’ve had pain while breastfeeding before but mostly on one side that has resolved itself over time. However, for about the past week I’ve had extreme pain on both sides when nursing and afterward. It feels like my baby’s mouth is knives or scissors. I really have to power through. When I’ve looked at my nipples in the mirror, I noticed they are both blanched. My baby has no visible teeth popping through but she is six months. Could the pain be due to teething? It’s not like I feel her bite—the whole nursing session hurts. Anyone been through this and have advice? TIA.
